Hi there, I'm so happy you're here. I'm Suzy, an Australian expat based in Abu Dhabi who loves photography, and creating beauty from the every day. I didn't start out here, my background is in Graphic Design, and I've worked in magazine publishing and corporate identity in Brisbane, Dubai and Sydney before moving to Abu Dhabi with my family.

 

I always loved photography, but had fallen into the routine of only bringing out the "big" camera on holidays and birthdays. However, during the covid lockdowns here in Abu Dhabi, I took a "Photo-a-Day" challenge, which opened up a world of creating beautiful images out of a (lets face it) really mundane time. Being able to create images that I was proud of within these restrictions helped give me the confidence to pursue photography professionally, and I've now completed a Diploma of Professional Photography from The Photography Institute.

My love is helping small businesses in Abu Dhabi create a cohesive visual brand, with a combination of product photography, lifestyle photoshoots, and even the dreaded profile picture, in a relaxed and easy way. My design background has shaped my photographic style, with an emphasis on graphic simplicity, light, colour and shape within my images.
